Lytwyn Construction is a growing commercial general contracting and construction management company based in the Lehigh Valley. We work on a variety of projects from ground-up construction to interior fit-outs across sectors like education, healthcare, multifamily housing, restaurants, and retail. We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Project Foreman to join our team and help keep our job sites running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
As our Project Foreman, you’ll be the go-to person on site, managing daily operations and making sure things stay on track. You’ll be working closely with on site crews, ensuring the job is getting done safely, efficiently, and to spec. Some days, you may need to visit multiple job sites to check on progress or lend a hand where needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing crews on site and keeping work aligned with plans and safety standards
- Logging daily site activities and reporting progress
- Traveling between job sites as needed
- Jumping in with hands-on work when required, especially in carpentry (drywall, ceilings, doors/hardware, finish work, etc.)
- Helping wrap up projects by completing punch list items
- Coordinating deliveries, inspections, and other on-site activities
- Keeping job sites clean, safe, and organized
- Communicating regularly with project managers and the office team
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5+ years of experience in commercial construction
- Prior experience as a foreman is preferred. Ideal for someone ready to grow into a superintendent or PM role
- Solid carpentry skills, including drywall, ceilings, and general finish work
- Comfortable leading a crew and coordinating subcontractors
- Willing to step into the work alongside the crew when needed
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Organized, communicative, and tech-friendly (we use digital tools for logs and updates)
