Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, grills, and fryers
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and proper food handling
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and quality
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred
- Demonstrated culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
