Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver with a Class B license to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, delivering exceptional service while safely operating our 18 ft manual transmission box truck. Your expertise in driving, vehicle maintenance, and customer service will ensure smooth operations and satisfied clients. Duties
- Safely operate a Box truck Class B with air brake endorsement.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper functioning of mechanical systems
- Be willing to go OTR for periods of time if needed
- Some experience with lift gates pallets jacks hand trucks straps etc
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks or report mechanical issues promptly to ensure operational readiness
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly Experience
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Class B endorsement required; experience with motor coach or bus driving preferred
- Prior experience with Box trucks and OTR life preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting preferred
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with clear communication skills in English
- Experience in delivery driving or transportation roles that require safety awareness and punctuality
- Familiarity with safety protocols for commercial driving and safety.
- Ability to handle diverse situations professionally while maintaining a positive attitude
