Dai Due is currently looking for a Pastry cook to join our team. We are a seasonally driven restaurant whose menu changes frequently. We have a focus on sourcing and using local ingredients. The right person will share our passion for using the bounty that Texas provides at its peak, as well as finding ways to preserve ingredients for later use.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Candidate must be comfortable with constantly rotating products and recipes
Advanced bread knowledge is a must as we have a heavy bread program
Early mornings and weekend availability
Work independently and be able to manage their time accordingly
Must have 3+ years of pastry experience
Must have strong communication skills
Desire to learn and develop food knowledge
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
This position would be 40/hrs a week with additional hours during busier seasons. Pay for this position would start at $22/hr plus tips. Tips average $1.50-$4.50 an hour. Benefits include optional health insurance packages, wellness plan and participation in the Dai Due Dining club.
