Good Salt Restaurant Group is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Operations to lead and optimize our organization’s operational functions. The Director of Operations provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple restaurant locations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and the continued development of high-performing teams. This role partners closely with ownership to execute the company's vision, drive operational consistency, and build a culture rooted in hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead multiple restaurant locations in delivering exceptional, guest-focused experiences while adapting to the unique needs of each location and concept.
- Partner with ownership to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), EBITDA objectives, and overall financial goals.
- Ensure consistent execution of company standards for food quality, hospitality, cleanliness, and service.
- Conduct regular restaurant visits to evaluate operations, provide coaching, and ensure compliance with brand standards, health regulations, and safety requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and the overall guest experience through best practices and continuous improvement.
Business Growth & Performance
- Collaborate with ownership to develop and execute initiatives that drive sales growth and increase market share.
- Analyze business performance, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and proactively adjust operational strategies.
- Champion local marketing efforts, hospitality initiatives, and service enhancements that increase guest engagement, loyalty, and revenue.
- Hold restaurant leadership accountable for achieving sales, profitability, and operational performance goals.
Strategic Leadership
- Establish operational priorities that support the company's long-term vision and growth strategy.
- Monitor performance across all assigned restaurants and implement action plans that improve execution and results.
- Coach, mentor, and develop management teams, preparing future leaders for increased responsibility.
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and development of management trainees and emerging leaders.
- Foster a culture built on excellence, integrity, accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Team Development
- Support recruiting, hiring, training, and retention efforts across all assigned restaurants.
- Provide regular coaching, performance feedback, and leadership development to restaurant management teams.
- Partner with Human Resources to resolve employee relations issues and promote a positive, respectful workplace culture.
- Encourage collaboration and open communication while developing engaged, high-performing teams.
Financial Stewardship
- Maintain ownership of market-level financial performance, including sales, profitability, labor, food and beverage costs, and controllable expenses.
- Review financial reports and operational metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring corrective action.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure sustainable growth.
- Drive accountability for achieving financial objectives while maintaining operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Extensive multi-unit leadership experience within a polished or upscale casual full-service restaurant organization.
- Demonstrated success leading high-performing restaurant teams while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and consistently achieve operational and financial goals.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls, labor, budgets, and operating expenses.
- Proficiency with POS systems, labor management software, inventory systems, and other restaurant technology platforms.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience leading new restaurant openings is highly preferred.

Working Conditions
- Work is performed primarily within restaurant environments, with occasional office and remote work.
- Frequent travel between restaurant locations is required, with travel up to 75% of the time.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including prolonged standing, walking, and other physical activities.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
