About the Job
We’re looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic with at least three years experience. You’ll work on a mix of dozers, excavators, loaders, haul trucks, and service vehicles from brands like Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, and Volvo — both in the shop and out in the field.

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drivetrains
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment and trucks
- Handle field service calls and make on-site repairs to minimize downtime
- Keep detailed maintenance logs and repair records
- Work closely with operators and supervisors to plan service work
- Maintain tools, parts, and a clean, safe work environment
- Always follow company and OSHA safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic
- Strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Experience with multiple makes and models of construction equipment
- Able to read schematics and use diagnostic software (CAT ET, Cummins Insite, etc.)
- Must have own basic tools (specialty tools provided)
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred)
- Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-focused
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs safely
- Comfortable bending, kneeling, standing, and climbing on/off equipment
- Work inside shop and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to safely move around active job sites
Key Performance Goals
- Maintain 95%+ fleet uptime
- Complete repairs and PMs on schedule
- Zero repeat repairs for the same issue within 30 days
- Maintain 100% safety compliance at all times
