Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all kitchen operations.
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure freshness and safety.
- Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food efficiently.
- Use knife skills proficiently for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other prep work to streamline kitchen workflow.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and uphold the restaurant’s reputation for excellence.
- Maintain a clean work station , wash dishes and deep clean at the end of the night.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent food handling skills with a focus on safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
