JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage RFIs and submittals for effective communication between stakeholders.
- Assist Superintendent in field operations and project coordination tasks.
- Track project quantities, estimates, and costs for effective project management.
- Review plans and specifications to identify and address construction conflicts early on.
- Maintain project documentation and reports in compliance with FDOT standards.
- Support scheduling, planning, and change-order documentation processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in heavy-civil or highway construction engineering.
- Background in heavy-civil or FDOT roadway projects preferred.
- Proficiency in RFIs, submittals, and construction coordination practices.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Ability to interpret civil construction plans and specifications.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Prior experience on FDOT projects.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project software.
- EIT certification or progress towards obtaining a PE license.
