Luxor Staffing is hiring a Food Production Helper paying $16.50-$18.00 per hour with 1st shift available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!
Part Time Wednesday and Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm
Functions:
- Responsible to help prepare food products for packaging, processing, and distribution.
- Operate food processing and packaging equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
- Food Production Steward will be involved in a range of tasks from ingredient handling / measuring, cooking, working with slab forming and enrobing equipment, packaging food products for sale.
- Inspect food products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
- Package, box, weigh and label prepared items.
- Ensure cleanliness of the production area and adhere to food safety standards.
- Learn training programs to develop and refine skills.
- ·Develop in-depth knowledge of the company's products and how they relate to customers’ needs.
- Learn and support internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
- Anticipate a variety of needs and problems and proactively suggest approaches and solutions. Stay abreast of developing needs and requirements for the team and act resourcefully.
- Support the company in maintaining a work environment that fosters learning, respect, open communication, collaboration, integration, and teamwork.

Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience in food manufacturing
- 2-3 years of food production and or food packaging experience.
- Ability to follow food safety regulations.
- Ability to operate food processing equipment.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Previous experience in a food production, food packaging or general production environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of food safety practices.
