Boater’s World Marine Centers is hiring a Consignment Sales Consultant focused on bringing boats into the dealership, not waiting for walk-in buyers.
This is a proactive, outbound-driven role centered around calls, follow-ups, and relationship building with boat owners looking to sell.

What You’ll Be Doing
Seller Outreach & Consignment Acquisition
- Contact boat owners through outbound calls, follow-ups, and inbound leads
- Explain the consignment process, pricing strategy, and timelines
- Build urgency and move sellers toward signed agreements
- Manage a high-volume pipeline of active conversations
Deal & Pipeline Management
- Track leads from first contact through intake and sale
- Maintain consistent follow-up to keep deals moving
- Coordinate with internal teams on pricing and strategy
- Support transactions once inventory is onboarded
Inventory Coordination
- Evaluate incoming units and assist with pricing and positioning
- Ensure accurate entry of inventory into dealership systems
- Maintain organization across multiple active listings
Customer Experience
- Deliver a professional, responsive experience to sellers and buyers
- Answer questions and resolve issues quickly
- Ensure documentation and contracts are accurate and complete
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Background
- Experience in high-volume sales, call centers, hospitality, collections, or commission-based roles
- Comfortable with outbound calling, follow-ups, and pipeline management
- Marine, automotive, RV, or consignment experience is a plus
Skills & Traits
- High energy and comfortable making frequent outbound calls
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple deals at once
- Goal-driven with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus
