American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist for a day shift position in a hospital radiology/CT department, requiring 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT certification.

Hospital-based CT Scan department within a radiology setting

1:1 patient ratio

4x10 hour day shifts, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Weekend hours as required by facility

Call requirements as required by facility

Float requirements as required by facility

13-week contract

Minimum of 2 years of recent CT experience required
-
ARRT certification required
-
Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology; associate or baccalaureate degree preferred

BLS certification preferred
-
Radiation safety and MRI safety training for non-MRI personnel required

Proficiency with GE CT equipment and Epic EMR
-
License required if applicable — must be active and free of expirations within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal documentation is provided

Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted

No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Performs CT examinations under the supervision of the Radiology Leader, applying prescribed ionizing radiation with independent judgment and initiative

Candidate should be compassionate and capable of working independently

Black scrubs required

Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment

Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate; local candidates are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or reassignment outside the 50-mile radius is required
