Role and Responsibilities
Shift Lead is a Supervisory position providing onsite support to our Stone Milling operations in Santa Rosa, CA. Looking for a responsible, organized and proactive supervisor with warehouse/manufacturing experience. This position would entail the following:
- Operate stone milling equipment and supervise other millers
- Organize wheat shipments and flour deliveries
- Schedule employees
- Maintain GMP records, cleaning, maintenance, receiving and fulfillment records
- General troubleshooting and equipment maintenance/repair
- Set and optimize milling to meet company targets and goals
- Supervise cleaning schedules

Preferred Skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Prior milling or related experience
- Mechanical trouble shooting
- Prior Food Manufacturing Experience
- HACCP Certified
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
Daily/Weekly Checklist:
- Conduct morning inspections and reports, noting any deficiencies in cleaning or maintenance
- Ensure team is operating equipment safely and note any failures to follow safe operating procedures
- Ensure Production targets are met
- Conduct preventive maintenance
- Update preventive maintenance logs
- Schedule maintenance as needed
- Update Shipping and Receiving Logs
- Update Repacking Log and create labels for the day
- Complete any Packing Lists for key co-manufacturers for shipping
- Complete any Pallet Packing lists, Print tote labels for the day
- Compete and verify milling data for productivity dashboards
- Place orders as necessary
- Complete weekly inventory report (Fridays)
- Complete shipping and receiving (weekly)
- Send flour testing data to head of Quality Control
- Monitor optimization of mills for yield and progress toward targets
- Assist with bagging, refilling mills, loading/unloading as needed
- Respond to calls for support as necessary
- Ensure all fire safety protocols are followed
- Facilitate inspections of facilities
- Troubleshoot equipment issues calling in technical support or fixing on own
Pay: From $73,000.00 per year
