Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist with tree removal, pruning, and trimming using proper arborist techniques, including the use of chainsaws and rigging tools
- Operate bucket trucks safely for elevated work and access hard-to-reach areas
- Support arborists in rigging operations to ensure safe and efficient tree work
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, and general horticultural practices
- Learn to apply safety protocols diligently during all outdoor activities and equipment use
- Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and site analysis when applicable
- Help with plant pruning care, tree health assessments, and overall tree care practices to promote healthy growth
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm for outdoor work, landscaping, or horticulture with a desire to learn arborist skills
- Basic knowledge or interest in dendrology (the study of trees) and plant care
- Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or growing plants is a plus
- Ability to follow safety procedures rigorously while operating equipment like chainsaws and bucket trucks
- Willingness to learn arborist rigging techniques, tree removal procedures, and other technical skills
- Strong work ethic with good physical stamina for outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
