Position Summary:
The Right of Way Analyst, Contract Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, and administering the end-to-end contract process for land and right of way agreements.
This role serves as the operational owner of the contract workflow, ensuring agreements are standardized, efficiently processed, properly reviewed, and executed through the contract management system.
This position works cross-functionally with Legal, Land, Engineering, Project Management, Finance, and external parties to build scalable processes, manage redlines and negotiations, answer contract-related questions, and ensure agreements are executed accurately, consistently, and on schedule. This role reports directly to the ROW Manager.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the end-to-end contract administration process for land and right of way agreements.
- Build and document standardized workflows for intake, review, redlining, approval, execution, and archiving of agreements.
- Own and administer the contract management system workflow, including:
o Intake processes
o Routing and approvals
o Version control
o Execution tracking
o Repository management
- Develop and maintain templates, playbooks, process guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Act as the process owner for land and right of way agreements across the organization.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Paralegal Studies, Real Estate, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in contract administration, contract operations, or legal operations.
- Demonstrated experience building, implementing, and owning contract processes and workflows.
- Strong experience using contract lifecycle management (CLM) or contract management systems.
Skills:
- Hands-on experience coordinating redlines and contract negotiations.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and process design skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Land, Engineering, and Project teams
Pay: $275.00 - $325.00 per day
