Duties
- Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management.
- Manage inventory levels through effective stock control, purchasing, and merchandising strategies.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to boost sales and enhance store profitability.
- Monitor store performance metrics, conduct regular evaluations, and provide managerial communication to foster continuous improvement.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and operational policies.
Skills
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, especially in sales team supervision and store operations.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle purchasing negotiations effectively.
- Excellent employee orientation skills with experience in interviewing, recruiting, training & development.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and financial transactions.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with effective communication skills and team management expertise.
- Knowledge of retail math concepts such as pricing, sales management, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Experience with operational management tasks including shift management, merchandising, stocking, and wireless sales.
