Our client, the U.S.’s largest commercial real estate services firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pantry Coordinator supporting a premier corporate office in New York, NY. This 3-month contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced food and beverage professional who enjoys leading by example in a fast-paced hospitality environment. As the working lead for a team of three Pantry Coordinators, you'll be responsible for maintaining exceptional pantry operations while providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, and operational support. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the on-site pantry, market, and backstock areas while actively working alongside the team.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of pantry and food service areas.
- Stock, rotate, and replenish food, beverages, and supplies while ensuring freshness and compliance with expiration dates.
- Order, receive, and monitor pantry inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
- Set up and maintain self-service food and beverage stations.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, properly maintained, and operating efficiently.
- Monitor compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to employees, guests, and visitors.
- Support catering requests and special events as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of three Pantry Coordinators.
- Assign daily responsibilities, establish work schedules, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for operational issues and team questions.
- Train, mentor, and cross-train team members while supporting ongoing development.
- Monitor team performance and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Must Have Skills
- Prior food and beverage or hospitality experience.
- Previous experience in a lead, senior, or supervisory role.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional, hospitality-focused demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while balancing hands-on responsibilities with team leadership.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
