Job Overview
Burkii is a new fast-casual café and restaurant looking for reliable, energetic, and hardworking team members to join our growing team.
We are currently hiring for Café/Front Counter, Food Line, and Back Kitchen positions. We are especially looking for candidates with open availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
No extensive restaurant experience is required for the right candidate. We provide training, but we are looking for people who are dependable, willing to learn, work well with others, and can stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Depending on your assigned position, responsibilities may include:
- Preparing and serving food and beverages according to Burkii recipes and standards
- Taking customer orders and operating the POS/register
- Preparing coffee, specialty drinks, smoothies, açaí bowls, and other café items
- Assembling food orders quickly and accurately
- Working on the front food line and communicating with kitchen staff
- Food preparation, portioning, stocking, and labeling
- Cooking and preparing menu items using approved kitchen procedures
- Maintaining proper food temperatures and following food-safety procedures
- Restocking your station throughout your shift
- Washing dishes, utensils, equipment, and food-preparation areas
- Cleaning and sanitizing workstations throughout the day
- Completing opening and closing duties
- Sweeping, mopping, taking out garbage, and maintaining a clean restaurant
- Working as a team during busy periods
- Following FIFO, food-safety, sanitation, and company procedures

Morning, evening, closing, and weekend availability is highly preferred.
Scheduling
Burkii operates from early morning through the evening. We are hiring for a variety of shifts, including:
- Morning/opening shifts
- Daytime shifts
- Afternoon/evening shifts
- Closing shifts
- Weekend shifts
Both part-time and full-time availability may be considered depending on scheduling needs.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
