VP Aviation is hiring A&P Mechanics for contract-to-direct work on corporate aircraft at a new hangar facility in Tampa, FL.
This role is ideal for mechanics with hands-on experience on business jets who want a stable schedule, strong weekly pay, and the opportunity to move into a full-time position.
Pay
Pay is based on experience and will be determined after interview.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- Shift options: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Occasional off-hours or weekend support may be required
- Weekend on-call rotation may apply upon direct hire
Scope of Work
- Perform maintenance and inspections on corporate/business jets
- Support aircraft readiness and ensure compliance with FAR regulations
- Handle maintenance tracking and coordinate with outside service providers
- Maintain clean, organized work environment within hangar operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft discrepancies independently
Minimum Requirements
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License (A&P)
- 3–5+ years of experience on one or more of the following:
- Pilatus PC-12
- Dassault Falcon 2000 and Falcon 900
- Working knowledge of FAR Part 135
- Experience with maintenance tracking systems (CAMP or CMP)
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have your own tools
Preferred Experience
- Inspection Authorization (IA)
- Previous AOG experience
- Strong troubleshooting and ability to work independently
