We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting medical staff, assisting with patient services, and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs accurately.
- Perform PHLEBOTOMY
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Perform front office duties as needed.
- Support patients in understanding their treatment plans and answer any questions they may have.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment.
- Administer vaccines.
Skills
- Proficient in taking vital signs and performing basic clinical procedures.
- Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology to assist in patient assessments.
- Experience in inpatient settings, particularly within trauma centers, is preferred.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and practices.
- Strong organizational skills for managing medical administrative tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to provide exceptional patient service and support.
- Ability to work effectively in urgent care environments while maintaining composure under pressure.
