What you’ll do

- Utilize POS systems to process orders efficiently and manage transactions.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience while maximizing sales opportunities.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met during food preparation and serving.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes.
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area for a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with OpenTable for reservation management is advantageous.
- Experience in fine dining settings is highly valued.
