We are seeking a skilled CV Rad Tech to join our medical team in Hawaii.
Unit: CV Rad Tech
Requires:
- Current status as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac
- Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
OR
- Two (2) years of Special Procedures/Cath Lab experience (HI Radiologic Technologist license still required)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiology (CI) RT preferred
- Current Hawaii state license as a Radiologic Technologist required
- Current BLS/HCP and ACLS required
Notes:
- All licenses and certifications must be valid at the time of application submission through the duration of the initial contract
- Requested Time Off (RTO) during the initial contract is limited to a maximum of 7 days, Wednesday through Wednesday
- Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date
- Travel may be floated to an area of equal or lesser acuity based on operational needs
Detailed Description:
A. EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Current Hawaii state license as a Radiologic Technologist required
- Current BLS/HCP and ACLS required
- All licenses and certifications must be valid at the time of application submission through the duration of the initial contract
B. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Two (2) or more years of full-time Radiologic Technologist experience in a high-volume cardiac catheterization lab prior to any travel assignments required
- Experience in comparable size/type medical center(s) (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center) highly preferred
C. OTHER
- Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date. Failure to meet this requirement will delay the start while the end date remains fixed, resulting in a shortened contract
- Travelers will be required to float to other areas within skillset based upon operational needs
Qualifications:
- Certification or Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Proficiency in X-ray technology and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Strong understanding of medical imaging procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control measures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duration: 16 weeks
Shift: D/E + some call
Hours: 40hours guaranteed
Gross Weekly: $3735.00
Hourly: $29.50
OT/CB: $82.00
OC:$4.00
Per Diem: $2555.0
