Duties
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment and property infrastructure to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately troubleshoot issues and implement repairs.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites for installation, repair, or maintenance of HVAC/R systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical faults or perform component repairs.
- Maintain detailed service reports, logs, and documentation for all work performed; communicate clearly with clients about system status and recommended solutions.
Skills
- 2–6 years service experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- EPA certification required
- NATE or advanced training a plus
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, or property maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems including ammonia refrigeration and boiler operations.
- Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately.
- Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; proficient in equipment repair and welding techniques.
- Familiarity with field service procedures across commercial or residential settings.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
