Popp Chains creates custom 3D printed hype chains for teams, brands, businesses, athletes, events, and organizations. Our products are used for fan engagement, player recognition, awards, activations, giveaways, and custom brand experiences.
Popp Space focuses on custom 3D printing, creative production, local manufacturing, product development, education, and community-based 3D printing experiences.
We are looking for a creative, hands-on Content and Social Media Manager to help grow both brands through strong content, consistent posting, digital storytelling, and smart social media strategy.
Position Overview
This is a contract-to-hire role for a local candidate in the Houston, Pasadena, Deer Park, or Clear Lake area.
This position is primarily on-site. Most work will be completed at our facility so the right person can capture real content, follow active projects, work closely with our team, and understand the day-to-day business.
Some work, such as video editing, graphic design, caption writing, content scheduling, reporting, and planning may be completed remotely when appropriate..
The right person should be able to plan content, film videos, take photos, create graphics, write captions, schedule posts, manage campaigns, track performance, and help grow our social media presence.
This is not just a posting or scheduling role. We need someone who can visit our facility, recognize what is interesting, capture it, and turn it into content that helps build brand awareness, engagement, leads, partnerships, and sales opportunities.

Most weekly hours will be completed on-site at our facility. Remote work may be available for editing, design, scheduling, reporting, and planning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage social media strategies for Popp Chains and Popp Space.
- Spend regular time on-site capturing daily business activity, products, projects, production, packaging, employees, customer work, events, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Create photo, video, and graphic content for multiple platforms.
- Film behind-the-scenes content, products, projects, production, packaging, customer work, employees, and events.
- Create and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Design clean, professional social media graphics using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Write captions, calls to action, post copy, and campaign messaging.
- Build and manage a monthly content calendar.
- Schedule and publish approved content.
- Help develop content ideas that support brand awareness, local growth, sales, partnerships, community engagement, and customer education.
- Monitor social media trends, audience behavior, brand mentions, and industry conversations.
- Use basic social listening to identify content ideas, customer questions, partnership opportunities, and audience feedback.
- Track social media performance using native platform analytics, Google Analytics, scheduling tools, or similar reporting tools.
- Review metrics such as reach, views, engagement, followers, website traffic, inquiries, leads, and campaign performance.
- Recommend improvements based on data, performance, and audience response.
- Support basic paid social media campaigns, including boosted posts and targeted ads when needed.
- Apply basic SEO and keyword best practices to improve visibility on social platforms, Google Business Profile, website content, and video descriptions.
- Maintain consistent branding, tone, messaging, and visual quality across both brands.
- Coordinate with leadership before posting customer-specific content, partnership announcements, pricing-related content, major announcements, or sensitive topics.
- Work with internal team members to identify upcoming projects, events, products, and customer stories worth sharing.

Preferred Experience
- Experience with small businesses, product brands, sports, events, local businesses, creative companies, or manufacturing environments.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, Lightroom, Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools.
- Experience with content calendars and social media scheduling.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics, Google Analytics, paid social advertising, SEO, and keyword research.
- Experience with product photography or video production.
- Experience creating content for both B2B and consumer audiences.
- Comfortable giving direction during filming when needed.
- Comfortable being on camera occasionally, if appropriate.
First 90 Days
