We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Manage patient scheduling using electronic health records (EHR) and patient management software (specifically Dentrix Ascend), ensuring appointments are booked accurately and efficiently
- Serve as the first point of contact via phone and client communication channels, providing friendly, professional assistance to patients and healthcare providers
- Verify patient insurance information, assist with health insurance inquiries, and support billing processes
- Maintain patient confidentiality by adhering strictly to privacy laws and organizational policies
- Support dental administrative tasks such as data entry, document management, and maintaining accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Facilitate communication between patients and dental providers to coordinate care plans, follow-up appointments, and treatment instructions
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting is highly preferred
- Proficiency with Dentrix Ascend for administrative tasks is preferred
- Knowledge of health regulation policies such as HIPAA to ensure compliance with privacy standards
- Experience supporting dental administrative functions like appointment scheduling, billing support, and insurance verification
- Familiarity with dental terminology and electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management systems such as EMR/EHR software
- Strong phone communication skills combined with excellent client communication abilities
- Ability to type quickly and accurately for efficient documentation and correspondence
- Knowledge of dental insurance processes and requirements is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality with integrity and professionalism

Hours are:
Monday: 7 am - 5 pm
Tuesday: 8 am - 6 pm
Wednesday: 8 am - 6pm
Thursday: 7 am - 5 pm
Friday: 7 am - 12 pm

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
