Open Positions
- Support a male in Wethersfield, CT (40 Hour Total) Morning Shift IHS (Wethersfield) 10 hours a week, Day Program (East Hartford) 30 hours per week
- Support a male in West Suffield Morning Shift 6:30am - 8:30am Monday - Friday (Shift Differential for morning shift due to location); Sundays 8 hours. Also, can be a back up for afternoons 3:30pm - 6:30pm and Saturday 8 hour shifts.
- Support a male in Manchester In Home Supports
- Support a female in Farmington 14 hours a week on job-support (works in Hartford) and errands (groceries, recreation, etc)
- Support a female Manchester 8 hours a week. Individualized Day Vocational. Career search and support
- Support a female in Manchester 8 hours a week. IHS, appointments, groceries and similar
- Transportation Back Up Driver. Driver needed July 15 - 28th to cover an outage. AM route 7am - 9am, PM route 2:45pm - 5:00pm (traffic may effect route). Can continue afterwards as back up
- Support a male in East Hartford 8 hours a week (tues/thurs 9:30am - 1:30pm) . Job search and career coaching.

Job Summary:
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides compassionate, person-centered care and support to individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities in a structured day program setting. The DSP is responsible for promoting independence, ensuring safety, and supporting participants in achieving their goals through engaging activities, life skills training, and community inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and supervision to individuals during daily activities
- Assist with personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, and mobility as needed
- Implement individualized service plans (ISPs) and behavior support strategies
- Facilitate recreational, educational, and vocational activities
- Encourage independence and self-advocacy in program participants
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
- Document daily attendance, progress notes, incident reports, and any changes in behavior or health
- Support participants in community outings and ensure safety during transportation
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and families/guardians
- Follow all agency policies and procedures as well as applicable state regulations
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
- Experience: 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
- Certifications (may vary by state/agency):
- First Aid/CPR
- Medication Administration Certification (if applicable)
- PMT/Behavioral Intervention training (if applicable)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (if transporting individuals)
- Skills:
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer and documentation skills
Working Conditions:
- May require lifting, bending, standing for extended periods
- Exposure to individuals with behavioral challenges
- Daytime hours, Monday–Friday

We provide IHS- In Home Supports, DSO- Day Support Options/Day Program, IDN - Individual Day Supports Non-Vocational, IDV- Individualized Day Supports Non-Vocational, and Respite cases as they come up.
We hold open interviews & applications on Tuesdays 12:30pm - 3:00pm and Thursdays 10:00am - 2:30pm.
