Job Summary
Createch is hiring reliable Field Data Collectors to gather accurate point-of-interest data from restaurants, retail stores, and other local businesses throughout the Sacramento area.
In this role, you will travel around assigned areas of the city and use a mobile app to scan, verify, and record location-based data for restaurants and stores. Your work will help improve the accuracy of business listings, geospatial databases, mapping tools, and location intelligence systems.
This is a flexible, self-paced field role. You can choose your own working hours, but you should be comfortable dedicating focused time to traveling between locations and completing multiple POIs in a shift.
Responsibilities
- Travel to restaurants, stores, and other assigned points of interest across Sacramento.
- Use a mobile app to scan and record POI data accurately.
- Confirm location details, business information, storefront details, and other required fields.
- Collect and upload photos or other required location data when requested.
- Interact professionally with restaurant/store employees, managers, or property staff when needed.
- Follow collection instructions carefully to ensure submitted POIs are approved.
- Plan efficient routes to maximize completed POIs per hour.
- Communicate issues such as closed businesses, inaccessible locations, incorrect addresses, or app problems.
Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel across the Sacramento area.
- A personal vehicle is strongly preferred.
- Android phone preferred, but not required.
- Must be comfortable using mobile apps and following digital instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to submit accurate information.
- Comfortable interacting with workers, store employees, and business owners in a professional manner.
- Able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Good time management and route-planning skills.
- Must be dependable, responsive, and able to complete assigned work on time.
- Previous field work, delivery driving, gig work, retail, restaurant, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
Compensation
- $4 per approved POI
- Additional bonuses for hitting weekly collection quotas
- Average collectors may complete around 6–10 POIs per active collection hour, depending on route, location density, and approval quality
Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
