Job Description:
Essential Job Functions – Fuel Delivery Driver (Georgia)
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (tanker truck) in compliance with FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, and State of Georgia regulations, as well as company policies
- Hold and maintain a valid Georgia CDL (Class A or B) with appropriate hazardous materials and tanker endorsements
- Transport and deliver petroleum products to assigned customer locations in a safe, timely, and efficient manner
- Load and unload fuel products using proper procedures to prevent spills, overfills, or contamination
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and accurately complete required inspection reports, logs, and delivery documentation
- Maintain accurate bills of lading, shipping papers, delivery tickets, and electronic records in compliance with DOT requirements
- Monitor gauges, valves, hoses, and pumps during deliveries to ensure safe fuel transfer
- Follow all company and regulatory safety, environmental, and spill-response procedures
- Immediately report safety concerns, spills, accidents, or equipment issues according to company and regulatory requirements
- Provide professional and courteous customer service while representing the company positively at all delivery locations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status or operational issues
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of assigned vehicle and equipment
- Comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing, physical qualifications, and all safety-sensitive job requirements
- Work assigned schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry fuel hoses and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and steps, enter and exit truck cabs, and access fuel storage tanks
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions common to Georgia, including heat, humidity, rain, and cold
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to meet DOT medical certification requirements
. Successfully pass pre-employment DOT physical
. Successfully pass pre-employment drug screenings
. Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Certifications
