This full-time, onsite contract opportunity begins in August and lasts through the end of May, serving preschool and Child Find populations in a collaborative environment focused on student success. With multiple positions available, you’ll join a team of dedicated professionals providing essential support to early childhood development.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state SLP license
- Current SLP Educator Certificate
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver therapy for preschool and Child Find students
- Manage a dynamic caseload, which may vary based on evaluation or therapy needs (ranging from approximately 30–60 students)
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in alignment with district and state requirements
- Communicate proactively with families and educational staff to support student growth
- Participate in meetings, professional development sessions, and school initiatives
