What You'll Do:
-
Prioritize eye-related emergencies by assessing patient symptoms to clarify the responsibilities and expectations
-
Initiate and manage prior authorizations, advocating for patients & supporting physician- designed treatment plans to preserve vision
-
Identify prescription refill needs and collaborate closely with physicians to manage clinical patient care

Ensure accurate and efficient documentation in the EMR while effectively coordinating patient care

Apply quick & critical thinking in evaluating symptoms, medical history, and patient circumstances in real time
What We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
COA certification required within 90 days of hire (Tech Triage I)
-
Experience in ophthalmic subspecialties and scribing preferred
-
Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
-
Must complete required LMS training annually
