Summary
We are seeking a Medical Records/Central Supply Coordinator to join our team at Heritage Village of Waterville. This role is essential in managing and maintaining accurate medical records for our residents, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while supporting our mission of providing exceptional care.
Starting pay rate for the position is $16.00 an hour
The typical schedule for this opportunity is Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Start and end times are flexible based on community need.

Responsibilities

Maintain and organize medical records for all residents, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations regarding medical recordkeeping.

Coordinate with clinical staff to obtain necessary documentation and updates to resident records.

Assist in the preparation of reports related to medical records as required.

Implement and maintain efficient filing systems for easy access to medical information.
Requirements

Proficient understanding of medical terminology and healthcare systems.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Manage inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment to ensure availability.

Assist in the ordering and procurement of necessary supplies.

Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and stock levels.

Ensure proper storage and handling of supplies according to safety standards.

Collaborate with healthcare staff to identify supply needs and address shortages.

Conduct regular audits of inventory to minimize waste and ensure compliance with regulations.
