Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking Front of House Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while helping keep daily restaurant operations running smoothly. Duties include taking customer orders, processing payments, preparing simple food items, packaging orders, serving dine-in guests, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a positive attitude, and is willing to learn. Experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take dine-in, carryout, and phone orders accurately using our POS system.
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
- Prepare salads and other front-of-house food items according to restaurant standards.
- Package customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve dine-in guests and assist with customer needs.
- Restock food, beverages, condiments, boxes, and other supplies throughout the shift.
- Help keep the dining room, front counter, and workstations clean and organized.
- Complete opening, closing, and side work responsibilities.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely orders.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
- Work as part of a team to maintain an efficient and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant, food service, cashier, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience using a point-of-sale (POS) system is a plus.
- Comfortable handling cash and card transactions accurately.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable with good attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from management.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to maintain a clean, professional, and food-safe work environment.
