American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and a TX or compact RN license.

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital environment

Position primarily supports a Med/Surg float pool, with floating required

Night shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00–07:00)

84 hours scheduled biweekly

13-week contract

Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Epic EMR experience strongly preferred

2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration or prior to offer acceptance

Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances that could cause a positive result, including CBD products
