Decorah Auto Center is looking for a Service Advisor to join our growing team. This position is perfect for someone with strong communication skills, excellent organization, and the ability to keep customers informed throughout the repair process. Automotive experience is helpful, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
As one of the first people our customers interact with, you'll play a key role in creating an exceptional service experience.
What You'll Do
- Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
- Schedule service appointments and assist customers with their automotive needs
- Greet customers and accurately document vehicle concerns
- Create repair orders and communicate with technicians throughout the repair process
- Provide estimates and explain recommended repairs clearly
- Keep customers updated on vehicle status and expected completion times
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage when applicable
- Deliver a friendly, organized, and professional experience from check-in to vehicle pickup
What We're Looking For
- Outstanding phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service background
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable using computers and learning dealership software
- General automotive knowledge is preferred but not required
- A positive attitude and team-first mindset
