Associate Director – Atlantic Homeless Alliance
Skills and Responsibilities
The Associate Director of Atlantic Homeless Alliance (AHA) provides operational leadership for services supporting individuals at risk of or experiencing homelessness in Atlantic County. This role involves direct supervision of program staff, oversight of eviction diversion services, Housing First Initiatives, and coordination with key partners including the Atlantic County Board of Social Services (ACBOSS) & Department of Community Affairs (DCA). Working alongside the AHA Director, the Associate Director ensures programs meet quality, compliance, and funding standards while promoting best practices in outreach, engagement, and housing stabilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or related human services field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or vulnerable populations.
- Prior supervisory or program management experience strongly preferred.
- Valid NJ Driver’s License required
