G&S Foods is a central PA based snack food company operating in Hanover, PA. We are a co-manufacturer of sweet and salty snacks from popcorn to chocolate-covered pretzels. We are hiring for Warehouse Lead. Be a part of our continued Growth & Success at G&S Foods!
Our Warehouse Lead is responsible for
- Using sit-down and high reach forklifts to move finished product from the production floor
- Supplying production with raw materials
- Load, unload, inspect and document loads
- Utilize DEACOM (ERP system) to accurately verify, track all incoming, in process and outgoing material moves.
- Assist the supervisor in supporting the warehouse team and responsibilities including prioritizing inbound/outbound loads, communication within departments and customers, problem-solving within the shipping and receiving department
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Previous leadership experience required
- Proven experience as sit-down forklift operator and high reach forklift operator in a warehouse or manufacturing environment required
- RF scanning experience required
- ERP software experience required
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use of hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds
- Infrequently lift and / or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds
- Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision, distance vision and peripheral vision.
- Must be able to work in varied temperatures
Shift Times:
- 3rd shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11:00pm to 7:00am (hours can vary)
