Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a general sonography position, with 2+ years of experience and Epic EMR proficiency required.

Details

Acute care hospital setting in a general ultrasound/sonography unit
1:1 patient ratio
Philips ultrasound systems used
3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Shifts are scheduled Friday through Sunday
No on-call required
Epic EMR experience required
Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state — refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ultrasound/sonography
Proficiency with Philips ultrasound systems
Epic EMR experience required
Active professional license required if applicable
Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive RTO requests may impact the review process
All RTO requests must be disclosed upfront — requests made after submission or offer may be denied
