American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring EPIC EMR proficiency and a TN or compact RN license.

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Every other weekend required, with potential schedule adjustments based on unit need
-
MS/Tele unit with a step-down level of care (no ventilators or vasopressor support)
-
Patient population includes those with higher oxygen demands, dialysis patients, AFib, and post-cardiac catheterization

Cardiac drips managed on unit include heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and sotalol initiation
-
Telemetry monitoring required

Epic EMR used; minimum 1 year of experience required

Floating to other qualified Prisma Health units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs

Active RN license in Tennessee (TN) or a compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry or comparable unit experience

Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required

Two professional references required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible for this night shift Med/Surg Tele position; candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
