Responsibilities

- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
- Enforce strict food safety sanitizing procedures and hygiene standards across all kitchen operations.
- Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor food handling practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety protocols.
- Supervise shift management, including scheduling staff and overseeing daily kitchen activities.
- Maintain excellent communication with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Implement continuous training programs to enhance team skills in cooking, food service management, and hospitality excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining establishments or high-end restaurants with a strong background in food production and culinary arts.
- Supervising experience leading kitchen teams or managing restaurant operations.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, inventory management, and cost control measures.
- Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, catering, banquet service, and food handling techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Experience in managing dietary departments or specialized food services is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in kitchen management and inventory control.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry best practices including serving, bartending (optional), and restaurant management principles.
