Shift: Rotating Schedule
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patient care through specimen collection, laboratory operations, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Responsibilities may include:
Performing phlebotomy and specimen processing
Supporting laboratory testing workflows
Ensuring accurate patient identification and documentation
Maintaining compliance with laboratory policies and quality standards
Utilizing Epic and Cerner systems for patient and laboratory documentation
Current Epic experience required (mandatory)
Previous laboratory assistant and phlebotomy experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Ability to work rotating schedules and weekends
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
