At TPC Houston, the Host is the most important position in the restaurant. You are the first face every member and guest sees. You set the tone for the entire dining experience before anyone sits down.
If you do this right, every person who walks through our doors feels like they belong here.
What You'll Actually Do
Own the Front Door
You greet every guest within 10 feet with eye contact and a smile. No one walks past you without being acknowledged.
Control the Flow
You manage the seating chart, the waitlist, and the pace of the dining room. You know which server is in the weeds and which section can handle another table.
Communicate Everything
You are the link between the guest, the servers, and the kitchen. You relay wait times honestly. You flag VIPs. You call out large parties before they walk in.
Handle Problems Before They Become Problems
A guest looks confused in the lobby — you're already walking toward them. A reservation got mixed up — you fix it with a smile, not a shrug.
Keep Your Area Spotless
Menus are clean. The host stand is organized. The entrance looks like a private club, not a cafeteria.
Who We're Looking For
- You're warm, confident, and genuinely like people

- You communicate clearly with teammates

Bonus if you have:
- Restaurant or hospitality experience
- POS system experience
- A natural ability to remember names and faces
Schedule
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. This is a private country club
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
