About the Role
We’re looking for a Retail Store Associate (two days a week) to run our MAKARI boutique and deliver an exceptional customer experience focused on melanin-rich skincare. You’ll manage daily store operations, guide customers through personalized product recommendations.
Requirements
- Ability to work on Sundays and one more day during the week
- Fluent in English (French is a plus)
- Basic computer and POS system skills
- Retail or beauty sales experience preferred
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Confident communicator (in person and on phone)
- Passion for beauty/skincare for melanin-rich skin
- Organized, reliable, and customer-centric
Responsibilities
Provide expert product guidance to walk-in clients
Drive sales through in-store service and customer follow-ups
Make outreach calls to loyal/repeat customers
Maintain inventory, cleanliness, and a welcoming environment
Oversee daily store operations & visual standards
Support sales & marketing team members
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
