Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks professionally, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales transactions processing
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and promptly, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Maintain extensive knowledge of menu items, and food safety protocols to assist guests effectively
Skills
- Bilingual English and Spanish Required
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation standards in the food industry
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of food preparation processes and kitchen operations is advantageous
Pay: $7.25 per hour
