We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our law firm. This role focuses on aggressively representing clients affected by deceptive, abusive, or unfair business practices, with a strong emphasis on consumer protection and solar related litigation matters.
This position involves handling arbitration proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
●Maintain detailed records utilizing Law firms CRM including regular case updates.
●Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel advocating for clients while building long term relationships for future clients.
●Set realistic expectations for clients on the pre-arbitration process through settlement or arbitration.
●Provide guidance to clients on proposed resolutions and the outcomes of taking various courses of action.
●Collaborate and execute strategic case plans designed to maximize client recovery.
●Research and apply federal and state consumer protection laws, including Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Truth In Lending laws, UCC-1 filings, lien avoidance, and Uniform Commercial Code related matters.
●Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses.
●Conduct written discovery and take and defend depositions of parties and experts.
●Represent clients at mediations, settlement conferences, and arbitration hearings.
Qualifications:
●Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
●Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
●Ability to provide strong, strategic advocacy on behalf of clients.
●1-2 years of litigation experience preferred.
●Experience handling civil litigation matters through arbitration or trial preferred.
●Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Hours required: 40-45 hours a week
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year (DOE)
Work Location:
In person required for Nevada residents.
Remote work permitted for out of state candidates.
