As a Litigation Paralegal, you will often serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, requiring a sympathetic, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Purpose
The Case Manager is responsible for assisting attorneys in all phases of case management for personal injury matters. This role includes managing claims related to injuries or accidents caused by third parties, maintaining case files, tracking litigation deadlines, and acting as a bridge between clients and attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
Client Support

Act as the primary contact for clients, providing updates on case status, court dates, medical appointments, and other relevant information.

Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, insurance companies, investigators, medical providers, and defense counsel.
Case Management

Maintain accurate and organized case files using cloud-based case management software.

Ensure timely collection and organization of documentation and evidence, including medical records, witness statements, and discovery responses.

Coordinate and schedule depositions, court hearings, arbitrations, and other key deadlines.
Legal Support

Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents.

Assist attorneys in all phases of case preparation, including trial.

Investigate case facts to support negotiations and legal proceedings.

Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
Administrative Duties

Record and securely store client information in compliance with confidentiality protocols.

Manage administrative responsibilities such as overseeing case calendars, scheduling depositions, and filing court documents.
Qualifications
-
Minimum of 3 years as a paralegal/legal assistant in a high-volume personal injury firm.

Bachelor’s degree

Proficiency with cloud-based personal injury case management software required.
