Songster Handyman Services – Bend, OR
Songster Handyman Services is looking for a skilled, reliable, and motivated handyman/remodeling technician to join our growing team. We work on a wide variety of residential and light commercial projects throughout Bend and Central Oregon including repairs, decks, siding, drywall, trim, painting, fixture installs, punch lists, rental turnovers, and small remodel projects.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with customers, and can work independently without needing constant supervision.
We are a small team that values professionalism, honesty, efficiency, and a good attitude. We are not a large corporate company — we are looking for someone who genuinely cares about doing solid work and being part of a dependable crew.
What You’ll Be Doing
- General handyman and repair work
- Drywall repair, texture, patching, and painting
- Trim carpentry, door adjustments, hardware installation, and punch list work
- Deck, siding, fencing, and exterior repair projects
- Residential and commercial maintenance work
- Diagnosing problems and finding practical solutions in the field
- Communicating professionally with customers and team members
- Taking project photos and providing jobsite updates
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe jobsites
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of handyman, remodeling, construction, or maintenance experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Experience with a variety of trades including carpentry, drywall, paint, and general repairs
- Ability to produce clean, professional-quality work
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass both a background check and drug test
- Ability to lift, carry, and work in varying jobsite conditions
- Comfortable using smartphones/apps for communication and project updates
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Bonus Skills

- Experience leading projects or training helpers

Pay: DOE
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Bend, OR and surrounding Central Oregon areas
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
