Belleville Boot Company® is the oldest and leading manufacturer of boots for the U.S. Military - beginning with our first combat boot supply order during WWI. Headquartered in the Metro East St. Louis area, we proudly operate four state-of-the-art footwear manufacturing facilities, including two in Arkansas and one in Missouri. Our Illinois facility serves as an integrated production and distribution hub, while also bringing together our Marketing, Sales, and administrative teams to support efficient, coordinated operations.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Belleville Boot Company has an opportunity for Maintenance Technicians on 2nd and 3rd shift who will be responsible for the maintenance of polyurethane injection machines and other equipment including preventive maintenance, unexpected repairs and some general building maintenance.
The work hours for this position are either:
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday – Friday. The work week starts on Sunday night.
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday – Friday
Saturday work for both shifts would vary depending on need.
Position Requirements:
- Industrial mechanical & electrical experience
- Polyurethane injection molding experience a plus
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic components
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of PLC’s and DC Drives
- Welding steel and aluminum a plus
- Prior experience working on industrial sewing machines is a plus
- A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience or a combination of experience and education
Candidate must be flexible to work beyond normal shift with short notice and may be required to change shift periodically.
Hourly rate will commensurate with experience, but starts at $17.00/hr.
