Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise will ensure roofs are durable, weather-resistant, and meet safety standards. Responsibilities
- Install new roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and traditional shingles, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
- Conduct roofing repairs by replacing damaged materials, sealing leaks, and restoring roof integrity following project specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute roofing plans and modifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and install roofing materials.
- Apply safety protocols such as construction safety harnesses and ladder use procedures to maintain a secure work environment at all times.
- Perform siding installation, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry work, and other related exterior finishing tasks as needed.
- Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair projects while adhering to construction workplace safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing or exterior building work.
- Knowledge of roofing repair techniques and installation methods for various materials including metal roofing and single-ply membranes.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery safely.
- Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred.
- Understanding of construction safety harnesses, ladder use protocols, heavy lifting procedures, and construction site safety regulations.
- Strong carpentry skills including trim carpentry, framing (metal stud framing), concrete forming, remodeling, plumbing basics, masonry work, tile laying, and restoration projects are advantageous.
- Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor activity; ability to interpret schematics and technical instructions accurately.
- Valid certifications in construction safety practices are a plus; a proactive attitude toward adhering to safety protocol adherence is essential.

Pay: $25.00 - $34.83 per hour
