Vibra Travels Permanent Staffing is seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join the full-time night shift team at ContinueCARE Hospital at Hendrick Medical Center — a leading Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) dedicated to caring for medically complex patients.
This is a permanent, full-time position — not travel or contract — with recent hospital experience required.
About the Role
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in collaboration with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. You’ll play a key role in helping patients achieve optimal recovery while gaining valuable clinical experience in an LTACH environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care under supervision of RN or physician
- Conduct assessments and document observations and interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and report significant changes
- Support patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Participate in collaborative care planning
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
- Maintain accurate records in electronic health records (EHR)
- Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards
Qualifications
✅ Active LVN license in Texas
✅ Minimum 1 year of recent hospital experience required
✅ Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
✅ Strong clinical knowledge and sound judgment
✅ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
✅ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
