We are an Industrial Painting Shop applying Powder Coat, E-Coat, Liquid & Dip Coat to parts. Join our dynamic team as a Powder Coating Operator and become a vital part of transforming raw materials into high-quality finished products. In this energetic role, you will operate powder coating equipment to apply durable, high-performance coatings to metal components, ensuring they meet strict quality standards. Previous Powder Coating experience is a plus; but is not necessary. We are willing to train candidates that are detail oriented and have a desire to learn. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your role will expand your knowledge and experience in the manufacturing processes. You will maximize relevant skills to ensure efficiency and precision, making you a vital part of our team committed to excellence in every project. Responsibilities include:
- Set up and operation of powder coating equipment to ensure even and consistent application of coatings.
- Prepare metal parts by cleaning, masking, and sanding using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal coating adhesion.
- Inspect finished products with visual checks and precision measuring instrument checks for quality assurance, ensuring coatings are defect-free.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning as well as troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Follow safety procedures rigorously, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to industrial painting standards.
General Labor primary duties include working at the direction of the Production Supervisor and safely performing a wide range of tasks that include job set up, loading and unloading parts from paint lines, quality inspection, packaging, etc.
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment and include maintaining a clean and organized work area. As a Powder Coater, you will be essential in delivering high-quality finishes on various products through industrial painting techniques. You will also participate in job rotation in a variety of areas based on production needs. Everyone participates in job rotation as needed.
1st shift runs from 7:00am - 3:30pm.
8 Paid Holidays after 90 days of employment.
Paid Vacation/PTO after 6 months employment.
