Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Continuous Improvement Manager who will be responsible for driving operational excellence across Metra North America. This role partners with leaders across all functions and locations to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost through Lean principles, data-driven decision making, and the Metra Operating System (MOS).
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen events.
- Identify improvement opportunities through KPI analysis and process evaluation.
- Develop and implement sustainable solutions that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
- Standardize best practices across North American operations.
- Drive measurable improvements in key business metrics.
- Facilitate cross-functional teams to solve problems and eliminate waste.
- Develop and maintain performance standards and visual management systems.
- Lead and sustain a 5S culture throughout the organization.
- Facilitate and strengthen MOS Tier Meetings.
- Train and coach employees in Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Prepare and present project results, performance metrics, and recommendations to leadership.
- Support strategic technology and automation initiatives that improve operational performance.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Five or more years of continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent operational excellence methodologies.
- Proven ability to deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Experience using and improving operational KPIs such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), scrap, downtime, throughput, and on-time delivery.
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
